I went to a grocery shopping today.
Now, I know that I'm in Ohio and here, for some inexplicable reason, there is no recycling system, I'm still a little annoyed at this thing.
I get all my groceries, come to the checkout counter and cringe because I forgot my canvas bags.
So I'm forced to get the plastic bags. And this is how the checkout lady bagged my groceries:
1. two plastic bags for one gallon of milk.
2. no bagging for the 2nd gallon of milk (because I told her not to use double bagging)
3. one lunch-sized paper bag for a box of cherry tomatoes, put inside a paper bag with a six pack of beer, put inside two plastic bags
4. two plastic bag for a bunch of bananas
This was after I told her not to double bag anything. And yes, wtf to bag # 3
And then, I asked her, "Do you double bag everything?"
She seemed really proud of herself as she said, "Not everyone here double bags, but I do."
Moral of the story: Carry canvas bags everywhere so that when I encounter environmentally unfriendly people like this woman, I can wield my reusable bags at her and she won't know what hit her.

Haha, livejournal. Guess what? Cleveland girls are skanky! Even skankier than the girls at Ricks (and I know that you didn't think that could ever happen!!) YEAH OMG I POSTED IN LJ WTF. So far, I've ridden a mechanical bull. And lol, I went to a UM Alumni thing last night even though I'm not an alumni but they gave me free beer so that's ok.
And omg, my boss is a wings fan, yay. And the guys at work decided to call me "I G" emphasis on the G like in homie g. it's short for intern girl, wtf. haha.

Finished Harry Potter...Here is what happens.
Grawp eats Harry, right after Harry hooks up with Ron because Hermione and Ginny are killed by Draco, who is then eaten by Hagrid. Then Darth Vader comes and chokes Voldemort. Dumbly-dorr comes back to life and then casts a spell on Darth Vader, who then turns into Davy Jones and takes Hogwarts hostage to work on his ship for a million years. The ship is then capsized and Hermione and Ginny come back from the island that Captain Sparrow was stuck on. They were fighting over capt. sparrow, and in the process managed to kill him. And while they are trying to destroy the ring, they come across some hobbits named Merry and Frodo, and the hobbits, being small, are unseen by Hermione and Ginny. Ginny is tripped by Frodo, and Merry jumps on Hermione's back and steals the ring. The hobbits then rule the world forever. Harry potter can't save you now.

lowdown in the showdown, also antelope rhyme is cantelope did you know? figured it out today and wrote a poem but forgot poem

2. My brother joined facebook and I love him. also ankur facebooked dave, and that made dave feel important i think
3. I went under a waterfall...and went extreme rock climbing. also, after said extreme rock climbing and putting shoes in water and then climbing in dirt with them, i laundered my sneakers. they came out clean and smelled SO GOOD. i checked
4. I also ordered beer illegally...i'm super-good (SUPER-GOOD??) at this. also i have wine on my dresser
5. I'm also very talented at taking pictures of myself and sometimes even with other people!!!
6. I almost put 5 again
7. the roommate and i finally gots internet so i'm making a commemorative post

Yesterday, in fluids, Joe passed around a cup that said on it, "Want to see Professor Chronis WASTED? Put money in the cup to provide funds to buy a bar crawl t-shirt. All other proceeds will be donated to Relay for Life." (Back story: April 14, ME is having a bar crawl (not hosted by ASME or the ME department or the like :D). Anyway, to be on this bar crawl, you have to purchase a t-shirt...) So it went all around the classroom, jingling, and my professor got really confused. "What are you all passing around?" And then he saw it and said, "What does wasted mean?" (He's greek) and someone said, "It means drunk." And Prof. Chronis said, "Oh. Did you know beer is a fluid. That's not enough money. I drink a lot."

I put some pictures on my wall and it looks really nice now. :) Might as well use up my 100 color printing pages, right?
I think I'm gonna vote for Granholm. IF my absentee ballot ever comes, grr. Oh well, I just sent it out today, right? I've got time.
Baby, it's cold outside. But, I swear, the EECS building was colder than outside today. Hmm.
At the Mr. Engineer meeting today, I learned that my cousin was a contestant for it a few years ago! Haha. It made my night. Well, that and the grilled cheese (read on)

I made a banana shake yesterday, and it was DELICIOUS. I made grilled cheese today and it was DELICIOUS.
